Awesome department! They truly care for the citizens of this County. We recently had a lot of traffic down our road and it was becoming dangerous for the property owners with children and animals. I emailed the sheriff's department and within a few hours I received an email back from the Captain in Ashville. He assured me they would patrol the area and get traffic slowed down. True to his word, that day and beyond they have kept the traffic slowed to the posted limit. After recently moving here from a major city I wasn't used to such kindness and concern. Thank you !! Love this town. So happy we moved here.
